Richard was not just a passionate sportsman but also enjoyed fishing and sailing. He managed to sail to India to see the wonderful marvels of the Indian Ocean. On this trip he took a ship to the vicinity of the Straits of Muscat. He returned home telling of the immense happiness he felt in taking part in such a great adventure.

This famous man and woman from West Yorkshire did more than just enjoy their leisure time. They contributed greatly to the news of the region.
